A few things to note when utilizing SSL with a Tropo application (where you define HTTPS for your application Voice or SMS URL, or use an HTTPS URL for an audio file or other asset in your application):
- The certificate must be signed by a CA - Tropo will reject self-signed certificates.
- We do not currently support Server Name Indication (SNI) - this means you need a dedicated IP for your certificate.
- You will need SSL active on your server, not just TLS.
- Your SSL Cert must be in the default Java Keystore provided in jdk 1.8u74 (this will change as we update our JDK, but is accurate as of September 2016).
